the beginning
The sound of The Electric Petals came together in the summer of 2020. We've outfitted a 1950s log cabin into a recording studio, located in Temagami, Canada. The studio serves as the perfect music-creation getaway, free from the distractions and noise of the city:
just music.
The Wild At Heart LP began production as a demo in June 2020. The first band session came together during a spiritual group experience in the Old-Growth Forest on Temagami Island, surrounding 'Tall Pines Studios'. We explored our classic rock roots in the week-long session and dove into creating the music. We came away with 9 demo tracks and The Electric Petals were born.

Jackie JonZE (Lead Vocals, Harp)
Lead vocals, co-founder, songwriter and visionary for the Electric Petals, Northern Ontario-based musician, award-winning film producer and owner/op of Tall Pines Studios on Lake Temagami, Canada.
Beni Lava (Lead guitar, bass, keys, lap steel, cello, bg vocals)
aka Ben Foran is a Toronto-based, Juno nominated session guitarist and producer/engineer. As a hired gun, Ben currently plays alongside Allan Rayman, Anders, Haviah Mighty, Tanika Charles, Virginia 2 Vegas, and many others. He is a resident producer & recording engineer at Candle Recording. A Co-founder/songwriter of ‘The Electric Petals’ sound.
Billy Odeon (bass, keys, bg vocals, rhythm guitar)
aka Will Maclellan is a recording engineer at ‘Sound City’, Los Angeles. He engineered Phoebe Bridgers’ latest album, Punisher, along with assisted engineering for The Killers’ new album Imploding the Mirage produced by Shawn Everett, and many others.
Boris G Baker (bass)
Hails from Kingston and is also the bass player for the band, Kasador. He is currently developing music with his producer/collaborator, Rob Baker (Tragically Hip).
Anthony Daniel (Drums & percussion)
Juno-nominated session drummer and producer from Toronto who currently plays drums for Allan Rayman, Haviah Mighty and many others.
Mosha Garland
Aka Patrick Nunziata is a visual artist, co - writer and the bands production designer. From band artwork, creative development to wardrobe and live performance Mosha has is covered. The name Garland hails from the brand of stove that sits in the kitchen at Tall Pines artist retreat.
